Week 5 Pitch

In the pitch, I think our team did well and presented the information of our project. We provided 2 kind of pictures which are the poster and the website details. Firstly, the poster showed the information of World War II and some pictures. Secondly, the website details described the five-user’s interaction, these are help the user to understand how’s the website is working. On the other hand, we presented our project within 3 minutes, it was a good presentation. Unfortunately, we got lots of feedback from the audience which are improvements. We had missed some of the information that we didn’t expect before the pitch, such as the poster provided lack of details, similarity, where the detail come from, etc. Those problems we should solve immediately before the next problems come out. Therefore, it was a great opportunity to improve and correct. I think compared to other concepts, I admitted that other concepts had more creative and details information. We did well in the desig...

Week 4 Design Proposal

Image
In this design proposal of Project A, we separated different works in our concept, ‘War Museum’. Poster and pitches are the major part that one of my teammates and I need to finish before the next meeting. As the design proposal will affect our future project thinking, it is significant to have an early meeting and discuss about the proposal. Quality and detail are long-term planning to make our project clear and easy to express our concepts. Our teammates also did great in this design proposal. Afra is responsible for the scope of ‘War Museum’. Luke needs to prepare the background inspiration and research. Finally, Emma is working on the design concept. Especially Emma did lots of information research for us. Those really help us a lot to generate new ideas. I feel amused that I have these teammates which everyone, glad to do their work seriously. We have good communication and cooperation in this moment. I hope those attitudes can continue until we finish our project. Teamwo...

Week 3 Experience

Image
In the first week as a team, we had to decide one topic to start our project. I was thinking about World War 1 topic to begin. As World War 1 included lots of information and data from the internet, it is suitable and simple to design a project about War World 1. Fortunately, my teammates all agreed to choose this topic. This decision took us half an hour to complete. Next, our team also needs to separate the work which has designed a proposal for our project. Therefore, one of my teammates and I decided to make the poster and pitch and finish it before the next contact class. Certainly, our team full of productive with this project since the first week. We tried to trust each other. Also, I knew everyone in my team would try their best to accomplish their job. If they cannot finish on time, I think we can do it together. Additionally, according to the 6 Thinking Hats, if we can follow each of the hats, it is comfortable and easy to finish before the due day. We created a Facebook...

My Goals in future

Since the semester started, I was difficult to brainstorm some ideas, it is because the topic was wide-ranging. Due to this difficulty, there were less ideas generated at the beginning. However, after I attended the second contact class, I remembered how to use category and dimensioned concept map which learned from last semester. Firstly, by using category to sort the ideas, it is easier to understand the information and find similar knowledge. When we try to browse any information, which related to that idea, we can know which ways to search. Secondly, by using dimensional concept map, we can know the ideas of pros and cons. I used this method to generate new ideas, it is convenient to show all the concept, whether suitable for the topic and fulfil the demand which the customer needs. At last, there will lots of difficulty like idea generation, communication or division of work. Time becomes less and need to use the knowledge we knew to complete our tasks. Therefore, I should ...
