Week 11 Website & Final Report
In week 11, the website was
working in the process. We were struggling about the coding API, HTML and
JavaScript. For the previous week, my teammate Kelvin and Emma found out the
website was difficult to code that we expected. For example, we were trying to
make a WWII portrait which can show the WWII soldiers. The API was working
fluently and nice. Unfortunately, the HTML and CSS design didn’t expect that difficult to make the
website clearly and comfortably.
In addition, we are going to start
the report instead of focusing too much on the coding part. My teammates will
start this week and write a temporary report. The report demonstrates the use
of datasets, design part and the improvements. Mainly will describe the final website,
reflection and improvements. In the reflection and improvements, we will provide
an overview of the website, such as what we did in the final improvements and
how to solve the problem. However, this report is our general view of it. We try to add another
reflection which we will find out in the coding part.
On my part, I was working on the Diary Entries. My teammate Emma and
Kelvin suggested me to make a div which stored the Diary Entries. When the user
wants to read it, he/she can drag the div to another div and make the Diary
Entries are easy and convenient to read. This purpose of the suggestion is to
make the Diary Entries become more interactive. The user will be interested in
this. In my opinion, this function is interesting to the user. However, there
will be lots of crucial coding which are associated with the designing. It is
because the coding will make many changing to the position of the website body.
It is not easy to make a website with design and proper function. But I will
try to make it as soon as possible (This part will describe the bottom picture).
For me, I think I’m going to
achieve what I did and I need my teammate feedback to ensure that the coding
and design are suitable and good enough. Therefore, I’m on track for the final deadline.
